A few days after the victory of the ex-president Donald Trump at the Super Tuesday, and almost 8 months before the final elections, the future of the world is more and more questionned.

The end of the primary election marks the official announcement of Donald Trump as the representative of the Republican camp ; he is from now the main opponent against his challenger and last american president, Joe Biden. This fight is watched by the entire world with a lot of attention, because its conclusion could definitively change international economics, politics, and diplomacy. Indeed, the consequences of a Donald Trump back to the presidence can scare some countries whose the business man program could be disadvantageous for. We will explain you now what the issues are.

Yes, Donald Trump is back, with quite a few trials but especially a more radical program. Among all his projects for the country, one word is standing out : isolationnism. The ex-president wants an America more focused on itself, and less invested on international causes. He plans to leave (again) Paris Agreements for the climate, to stop helping some countries members of the NATO or stop the financial assistances for Ukraine. With the money saved, he could invest more in the struggle against illegal immigration, especially mexican one.

An other problem is about the economic politics of the country. In fact, a part of his program includes taxing of up to 10 % all the imports.

THE CONSEQUENCES

The problem is : America is THE most important state in the world. By leaving Paris Agreements, it would send one message : global warming is not a priority for USA. It could be a huge desastre given that America is the second most important polluter.

By stopping economic helps towards Ukraine and NATO, Trump would lead to a big loss of « security ». Alone, those countries are not necessarily able to face military powers like Russia.

Finally, the economic measures are also a drawback to the international relationships between America and the rest of the world, especially European Union and China.
